What certificate does this level aim for?
In B1 (Senior C), the preparation is directed towards the Cambridge PET. It is not a mandatory step, but it gives the student an initial contact with the examination process.
What does a B1 level report ask for?
Structured text with an introduction, development, and conclusion, and mainly justification: not just what the student thinks, but why. It is the skill that is also tested in B2 certificates.
How many years are needed from this level to the certificate?
Each level of the tutoring center corresponds to one school year. From B1 to Lower, there is one grade in between, and the level corresponds to B1 of the Common European Framework. The smooth progression from Pre-Junior to Proficiency C2 usually takes 8 to 10 years, aiming for Lower at the latest in the 2nd year of Gymnasium.
