What certificate does this level aim for?
In C1 (Advanced), the preparation is directed towards Cambridge C1 Advanced. It is not a mandatory step, but it gives the student a first contact with the examination process.
What is required additionally at C1 level?
Full development of the argument, precision in vocabulary, and control of style according to the text. The opinion must be supported, not merely stated.
How many years are needed from this level to the certificate?
Each level of the tutoring center corresponds to one school year. C1 is above Lower and below Proficiency, at the C1 level of the Common European Framework. The smooth progression from Pre-Junior to Proficiency C2 usually takes 8 to 10 years, aiming for Lower by the latest in the 2nd grade of Junior High School.
